NOT TO BE MISSED
16th, 17th & 18th May 2014
Tynedale Park, Corbridge NE45 5AY
The second “Northumbrian Antiques & Collectors Fair” is taking place on the 16th, 17th and 18th of May, 2014, ideally placed in the antique fair calendar between the B2B fair in Edinburgh the week before, and Bowman’s fair in Harrogate the week after.
These dates mean that there will be an excellent mixture of quality dealers who can fit all three fairs into their busy diaries.
Following the success of the inaugural event last May, despite the weather, we are delighted to be able to announce that we have dealers booked from Ireland, Norfolk, Somerset, Aberdeen and many other areas of the UK. We also have several top dealers from the Northeast, including Graham Smith Antiques of Newcastle upon Tyne.
The facilities on-site are excellent, with food and drink stalls at the fair provided by local caterers, meals and bar available at the clubhouse, together with a village pub and Indian restaurant at the site entrance. The attractive, historical village of Corbridge is within walking distance, with further public houses and restaurants. Nearby, just three miles away is Hexham, voted ‘England’s favourite Market Town’ in 2005, the same year as winning Britain in Bloom’s ‘Best Town’.
This event will be bigger and better than the first fair, with the addition of flooring in one of the main marquees. There will be several outside pitches and an increase in dealers holding their own private marquees.
As reported after the first fair, this is a wonderful venue and a well organized fair, stand-holders are urged to book now to avoid disappointment.
